Growing up in Michigan, Carson first took to the track at the age of 7. Success shortly followed as he captured 79 feature wins and 15 national championships in the USAC quarter midget ranks.
Under the guidance of NASCAR Truck Series Champion, Johnny Benson Jr, Carson moved up to full bodied stock cars at the age of 12 years old.
A win in the Outlaw Late Model Division early in the 2015 Berlin Raceway Season followed by a Super Late Model Victory later in the year catapulted his career by making him the youngest winner in both Late Model divisions.
79 TIME USAC QUARTER-MIDGET WINNER
Unfortunately his success was short lived as he was parked from competition due to a new age restriction soon after the historic late model victories.
Once he reached 14, Carson responded with a breakout season by becoming the youngest track champion in NASCAR Whelen All-American Series history — also adding three JEGS/CRA All-Stars Pro Late Model Tour victories in the same year.
Following the 2017 Berlin Raceway Super Late Model Championship, Hocevar set his sites on the national stock car divisions. By 2018 he progressed to the ARCA Menards Series where he would garnish experience on tracks all over the country.
HOCEVAR WINS WINCHESTER 400
In 2019, Carson made his biggest career leap yet - entering the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series dirt Race at Eldora for Jordan Anderson Racing. After another start at the season finale in Phoenix, Carson was ready for a partial schedule for the 2020 Truck Season with Niece Motorsports.
Carson would continue his winning ways in 2020 by capturing the 49th running of the Winchester 400, a crown jewel Super Late Model race that has been won in the past Rusty Wallace, Mark Martin, Kyle Busch among other legendary names of the sport.
